Emily Downstairs is a self-contained garden apartment with a separate entrance, suiting a single person or a couple wishing to enjoy a self-catering holiday.
Warmly furnished and fully-equipped, this unit offers an open plan living and sleeping area with double bed. Comfortable chairs form a space for conversation, quiet contemplation or reading. The en-suite bathroom includes shower, toilet and hand-basin.
Emily’s Downstairs Cottage
A fully equipped kitchenette adds self-catering convenience, and guests can enjoy a braai (barbecue) at the outside fireplace. Adjacent to the kitchenette, a door opens to a sunny garden spot for relaxation in a private setting; here you can settle with a book while the birds flit around in the greenery!
While you may be enjoying this private space in a self-catering mode, rest assured that your hosts are just a phone call away! If you opt for a lazy morning without cooking, you can take a short walk to our sister guesthouse, Gonana Guesthouse, to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, an extensive continental buffet, accompanied by a hot breakfast, at a small cost per person – just make advance arrangements with our Duty manager. Weather permitting, seating can be “al fresco” – on our communal terrace with breathtaking sea views. Breakfast at the guesthouse could be a perfect start to your day of relaxation in Paternoster!
